Sainsbury’s Full Christmas in a Day Film Launched

A fortnight after the initial teaser was released, the full 48 minute Christmas in A Day film from Sainsbury’s has been launched online.

The film is directed by RSA director Kevin MacDonald, the award-winning director behind the film ‘Life in a Day’. The crowd-sourced documentary features footage supplied by ordinary families from all around the British Isles.

Produced by Scott Free Productions and Ridley Scott Associates, the film presents one of the few moments in the calendar where the whole nation steps back from ordinary life. Made possible by Sainsbury's, the film was an experiment to reveal how Britain really celebrates Christmas.
