LA-based production company JOJX has produced a spot for the consumer-facing Go RVing programme, considered to be the voice of the RV industry. Ace Norton helms the cinematic ad, with his signature layers of humour, surprise, and off-the-beaten-path feel.
The spot cleverly celebrates the timelessness and ever-evolving nature of RV culture while weaving in the release of the Addams Family 2 film, which premiered in theaters and online on October 1st. The cool and creative campaign also highlights Go RVing’s mission to inspire potential RVers and spark curiosity through rich, authentic, and diverse storytelling.
With playful choreography and artful soundscapes, the viewer is transported on an immersive tour-de-force as the RVs themselves become an orchestra of endless possibilities. The iconic Addam’s Family theme is brought to life by RVers from all over the country - from the hiss of a sizzling steak on a grill to windshield wipers, zippers zipping to cupboards closing all standing in as their instruments. Under Norton’s artful direction, the characters, RVs, lighting, and soundtrack merge together seamlessly and cause the audience to hear a song they’ve heard dozens of times before from a different angle and with a different attitude.
