After being stuck with Covid-19, NERD illustrator Elmaz Ekrem kept creating and updated the World War Two icon for the modern era
NERD’s, Covid-19 stricken illustrator, Elmaz Ekrem, didn’t allow the virus to force her to put her creative tools down! Instead, inspired by the powerful World War II iconic, ‘Rosie the Riveter’ poster, she created an illustration depicting a brave, fierce and equally determined healthcare worker of today.
