The National September 11 Memorial Museum was created as a way to honor the thousands of men and women who lost their lives on that day in 2001 and to preserve the history of 9/11. Last year, the organization launched an ad campaign designed to build awareness of the Museum’s planned opening. The advertising featured the voice of Robert De Niro and the tag line “Take a day to remember the day that changed us forever.”
Now the 9/11 Memorial Museum has unveiled new ads designed to build interest and excitement around the museum’s public opening later this month. Once again, the ads feature the voice of actor, and 9/11 Memorial Board Member, Robert De Niro. In particular, two new television spots use historical media and artifacts to retell history and inspire people to explore further. The tagline is “History Remembered” and the call to action is to “Plan your visit to the 9/11 Memorial Museum.”
