Ricky Gervais, Kristen Schaal and More Drive New Audi Campaign

Audi has driven home a raft of famous faces in its new campaign for the A3 Sedan. Ricky Gervais, Kristen Schaal, chef David Chang and boxing champ Claressa Shields share tales of perseverance as they stuck rigidly to their principles throughout their career. The ‘Uncompromised’ campaign has been created to advertise Audi’s new A3 sedan, which is their first luxury motor to cost less than $30,000 – hence the ‘uncompromised’ strategy and tagline. Also starring in the campaign are art collective Cyrcle and Pulitzer Prize-winning war photographer Lynsey Addario.

In the centrepiece ad, each of the stars adds their voice to a spoken rendition of Queen’s anthem ‘We Are the Champions’ leading to a crescendo. Each of the celebrities is also depicted in an ‘Uncompromised Portrait’ film, in which they share their experience of breaking out of the cookie-cutter in order to be both successful and authentic.
