Richard Fofana Bulks Up Lowe Roche Strategy

Richard Fofana has joined Toronto-based Lowe Roche to take on the newly created position of VP Planning and Integrated Strategy, overseeing all aspects of strategy including digital and social. Richard is a dynamic marketing and communications strategist and business leader, with an extensive track record and passion for helping build world-class brands.

 

Until recently, Richard was Head of Planning at TAXI 2, Toronto, and has held leadership roles as Strategic Planning Director at Publicis, Director of Communications Planning at ZenithOptimedia and client-side positions in research and strategy at Molson-Coors and Kraft.  He also currently juggles an academic role, teaching Advertising Strategy at OCAD University.

 

Reporting to Monica Ruffo, CEO, the new role is part of the agency’s continued thrust in 2013 to push innovation and integrated thinking to drive client market success.

 

Richard brings to the role the unique vantage point of both creative and media agency worlds, while leveraging senior client-side expertise.  He draws on a wealth of experience from consumer goods to telecom, retail to QSR, alcohol to automotive – including work with Kraft, Nestlé, Walmart, Rogers, Koodo, Molson-Coors, Labatt/AB-InBev, YUM Restaurants, Beam Spirits, Chrysler, General Mills, L’Oréal, Capital One, Scotiabank and others.
