Richard Clay has been promoted to head of specialist capabilities. Richard has worked at Zenith for 11 years, originally joining in 2010 as a graduate planner.
In his new role, Richard will report directly into chief strategy officer, Richard Kirk, and will oversee a team of six specialist directors. The team have a deep expertise on particular subjects, including: effectiveness, data-driven marketing, direct response, performance solutions, ecommerce and media innovation.
This specialist team will continue to sit alongside the strategy and insights teams to make up a consultative group within the planning department. Specialists offer clients an added strategic lens on campaigns specifically focused to areas they want to build on. They are available to consult on specific challenges upon a client request, or are deployed proactively where opportunities for better performance are noted by the account team.
