This stunning BBC ident was captured by the team at Red Bee Media, with the services of Highlight Films over 3 of 9 days in the steamy City of Delhi. Far from the more familiar associations, Delhi Belly, this project summarises how ‘Delhi-cious’ this wondrous city is, hosting such prestigious games as well as being a home to thousands of locals.
“there was so much beautiful stuff that I wanted to shoot. it was like being in a giant, extravagant set…” Matt
Matt really set his talents and love for this country into this project shooting with a long lenses and in an observational manner. This beautiful documentary style, encapsulates the character full old buildings and the ultra modern architecture, the buzz of the streets and friendly atmosphere of all the locals.
The edit builds throughout maintaining this energy and flow, seeing the town preparing for the games right up until the whole town is alive with celebration. This is really a tribute to the BBC coverage, the games themselves and the beautiful direction of Matt Rhodes.
