R/GA London Collaborates on Launch of New Digital Fan Club for Football Fans Otro

R/GA London has collaborated on the launch of a new subscription-based digital club, OTRO, which enables fans get closer to their favourite footballers by revealing the true lives of the players through premium content. R/GA was responsible for leading creative, strategy and user experience design for the OTRO app – a digital fan club that gives subscribers insight into the lives of players such as David Beckham, Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr and more. The OTRO app offers subscribers unprecedented access and an authentic view of top players via exclusive interviews, live Q&As, documentaries, films and live chats for $3.99 a month.

CEO Jeremy Dale said: “Football fans all over the world want a deeper connection with their heroes and this is where OTRO comes in. We were delighted to have partnered with R/GA during the design and concepting process and are extremely excited to watch the platform grow. Our line-up of players is beyond even my wildest dreams and I know that fans are going to love them coming together to form one club where they share their stories. We’ve specifically designed OTRO to be a community where members and players engage directly. These players are the founding members of OTRO and they are now inviting their fans to join their other club.”

R/GA London closely collaborated with the OTRO team over the last 14 months to help develop a service that brings high quality, curated content from many of the world’s leading footballers into a single digital offering for fans. The agency used its experience and expertise in both business and experience transformation to design an app that gives the players their own storytelling platform and allows them to maximise their digital IP while connecting with their fans through their love of football.
