R/GA London today announces the appointment of Ferran López as the agency’s first-ever head of story design where he will drive innovation and storytelling for R/GA's biggest clients, including Nike and McDonalds.
Over the course of his career, Ferran has produced a series of award-winning work. Notably, being part of the team that won two Grand Prix’s and the Innovation Lion at Cannes Lions for ING and ‘The Next Rembrandt’. Recently, Ferran worked as an independent creative director and brand consultant, where he managed and created campaigns for a number of brands and agencies across Europe, including Nike, Oatly, AMV BBDO, Poke and Wieden + Kennedy. His agency experience also includes creative leadership roles at McCann Spain, VCCP London and Doubleyou.
As head of story design, Ferran will work in bolstering R/GA’s world-class design and XD team and add firepower to its storytelling capabilities. He will help the agency tell more meaningful and memorable stories for clients by building an industry-leading storytelling team. He will report into Nick Pringle, SVP executive creative director at R/GA London.
