Zaxby’s partnered with Alabama-based gourmet popsicle brand Frios to create ‘Saucesicles’ through an effort to differentiate the brand, honour Zaxby's beloved sauces, and establish Saucetember during the month of September. The effort is a social activation from Brand AOR Tombras, who has been working with Zaxby’s since January 2019.
Of Zaxby’s 12 dipping and topping sauces, Zaxby’s Saucesicles is available in two of the chain’s most loved sauces: Zax Sauce (the sauce that put Zaxby’s on the map) and Tongue Torch (the brand’s most popular sauce).
“Saucesicles were created for our most loyal fans that can’t get enough of our signature sauces. The collaboration with Frios is built on flavour, bringing together two iconic Southern brands,” said Patrick Schwing, chief marketing and strategy officer at Zaxby’s.
Though Saucesicles are not available in Zaxby’s stores, starting September 19, you can request to have one box of eight Saucesicles (four of each flavour) shipped to you for FREE through Saucesicles.com while supplies last.

The campaign is running across Zaxby’s Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook through the end of the month. For fans who are not able to snag these sweet and spicy treats, Zaxby’s is offering a Buy-One-Get-One Half-Off (BOGOHO) Boneless Wings Meal Deal with wings tossed in one of Zaxby’s eight sauces, when ordering through the app on September 27th.
“Zaxby’s is a saucy brand that over the last few years has been steadily expanding what that means, and not just in its marketing. In this case we’re pushing that boundary to do something unexpectedly delicious, while giving super fans a reason to come by.
