Production company Rattling Stick have announced that they have ended their relationship with the legendary Scandinavian directing collective Traktor in a statement released today. However the two parties are understood to have parted on good terms.
The full statement reads: “Rattling Stick and Traktor announce that after three highly successful and enjoyable years together they have decided to part company. In this time Traktor have picked up numerous awards including the D&AD Black Pencil, a Super Clio and Cannes Lions Film Grand Prix for their Tide 2018 Super Bowl campaign. Rattling Stick wish Traktor all the best for the future and feel that the success they have enjoyed whilst represented by Rattling Stick will stand them in good stead.”
Traktor first got together in 1990 and over the past 28 years they’ve delighted the industry with their inimitable sense of fun, humour and the downright weird. From music videos like Basement Jaxx’s Where’s Your Head At to the iconic Virgin Atlantic Love at First Flight, their back catalogue is packed with gems. They’ve also picked up numerous Grands Prix at Cannes Lions along the way, for the likes of 1997’s Diesel ad Little Rock, Fox Sports’ Cliff Jump and, most recently, It’s a Tide Ad, the campaign that won the 2018 Super Bowl. The collective includes directors Mats Lindberg, Sam Larsson, Pontus Lowenhielm, Patrik von Krusenstjerna, Ole Sanders and producers Richard Ulfvengren and Rani Melendez.
