The helpful animation runs through a list of “frequently asked questions” on workplace appropriate behaviour
Rashida Jones and Donald Glover have combined their significant talents and fame to make an animated film on the subject of sexual harassment for the Time’s Up movement.

Directed by Rashida and voiced by Donald, the film takes on the task of answering some “frequently asked questions” about what behaviour is appropriate in the workplace.

“Has the current wave of sexual allegations left you scared, confused, maybe even a little angry?” asks Donald at the start of the PSA, reflecting on the many high-profile sexual misconduct allegations made against prominent figures in recent months, sparking the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements around the world. “Is the culture shifting under your feet so fast you can’t make sense of it?” If so, this video should help clear some things up.

Taking a reassuring tone, Donald’s voiceover and a series of animated scenes run through some misconceptions that can result in unacceptable behaviour, from the kind of hug that’s appropriate to the complex power dynamics that dictate whether asking somebody out at work is OK.

Rashida and Donald’s video is part of a broader range of efforts from Time’s Up to eliminate sexual harassment. Women in Hollywood founded the movement at the start of 2018 and it has since staged several activist events to raise both awareness and funds. So far Time’s Up has raised $20m (£15m) for a legal defence fund to help at-risk women combat sexual misconduct.
