Rascal Bolsters Up Production by Welcoming Stacia Akaba and Maddy Lebel to the Fold

Maddy studied Fine Arts in Los Angeles before moving to London and starting her career in sound design at 750mph. After four years in the industry, working across some of the biggest Nike, Royal Marines and Greenpeace spots, she has joined us here at Rascal to lead Rascal Sound.

Maddy said, "When I heard Rascal was looking to expand on their audio side, I immediately knew I wanted in. It was such an exciting transition moving into a full post-house and getting to work directly with some of the best artists in the industry. It's a constant laugh in the studio and everyone has such an infectious love for their craft." 

Spending most of her career in the heart of Soho working with Big Buoy (now known as Tag Collective Arts) and a few years exploring post production with longstanding post houses like Rushes and Envy Advertising, Stacia now joins Rascal as their new executive producer.

Stacia said, "After 16+ years in the industry it’s dawned on me that I bounced into the Advertising world back in 2006 as an excited 21 year old - almost two decades later and I’m still just as excited. My love for the craft and the graft of Creative Post Production continues to grow and grow.

"A move that sees me waving goodbye to The Blue Post pubs that mark each corner of Soho. Graduating from a Big Buoy to a Rascal, I have propelled myself into a new pool of talent made up from some of the most renowned and sought-after artists in the industry. Where creative collaboration and an office full of colourful personalities is celebrated. I can’t wait to get people through the door to experience our offering. After just two years on the scene and still in it’s formative years as company, Rascal’s infrastructure, hand-picked talent and can do creative attitude means we’ll continue going like a Boeing!"
