Director and 3D animator Geoffrey Lillemon, who brings a classic romantic painting and drawing style to technology, has created a new web site showcasing the latest collection by fashion designer Bernhard Willhelm.
Lillemon, who is represented by Random Studio in Amsterdam, uses Faceshift and 3D Studio Max to create a series of animated heads, custom designed to bring each piece in Willhelm’s 2013 women’s collection alive.
It’s a visually compelling experience that aims to show a new way of looking at fashion collections and stimulates ideas about what the models of the future may look like.
Bernhard Willhelm, a German-born designer who now lives in Paris, is renowned for his love of mixing absurdity, bright colours and influences from pop culture with high fashion.
Lillemon is one of Random’s first signings since the interactive workshop which creates websites, apps and physical installations, moved into representing directors.
"Our relationship together kicks of a supportive production and art business. Geoff is the first director we will represent and others will follow soon,” says Daan Lucas, Managing Director of Random Studio.
