Raison D’Etre & the LRF #EraseLymphoma with New Campaign

To debunk the misconception that lymphoma is only diagnosed in people ages 50+, The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) teamed up with creative agency, Raison D’Etre, and production company, Click 3X, for a major awareness initiative. At the helm is the #EraseLymphoma video, a touching look into the lives of six young adults and their incredibly personal stories of being diagnosed with lymphoma at a young age and their battle with the disease.

One of the young adults, Anthony Daniel, is currently fighting his fourth bout with Hodgkin lymphoma since being diagnosed at 19 years old. The video shows how Anthony stays positive by focusing on his passion - boxing. “How you fight in the ring is how you live your life,” he says in reference to his strength and perseverance. Another, Maressa Williams, Montel Williams's daughter, was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma after undergoing an MRI for an unrelated injury. Unfortunately, after only a short remission, Maressa’s Hodgkin lymphoma relapsed and she was forced to undergo extensive chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. Yet, she is still ready to take on any challenge – most importantly raising awareness for lymphoma. In an effort to give back she now serves as a Diplomat to the Lymphoma Research Foundation spreading her message, “I am a survivor and nothing can hold me back!”

Raison D’Etre and Click 3X came up with the concept for the video, and directed and produced it in their studio. #EraseLymphoma will live across LRF’s social channels and is part of a larger Adolescent and Young Adult initiative which is dedicated to raising awareness of lymphoma among the adolescent and young adult community.
