Rainn Wilson and Guinea Pig Kenneth Prove Small Pets are Just as Good for Kaytee Pet Food
Droga5 mockumentary follows Rainn entering the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show to showcase small animals on the big stage
Kaytee, an industry leader in small pet nutrition and products and an expert in small animals and birds for more than 150 years is launching a campaign called ‘Small in Show’ with celebrity, comedian and small animal enthusiast Rainn Wilson.
The campaign was created in partnership with creative agency Droga5.
Small animals like guinea pigs and birds are treated like second-class pets, with cats and dogs often getting all the love and attention.
The 'Small in Show' documentary follows Rainn Wilson as he enters his guinea pig, Kenneth into the crème de la crème of canine competitions, the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show (June 18th - June 22th in NYC), all an effort to give a bigger stage to small animals.
In the five-minute documentary from Droga5, Rainn meets a dog show trainer, a dog show stylist and a veterinarian to get his guinea pig into the competition.
The film closes with Rainn creating his own 'Small in Show' competition, the first-ever celebration of small animals and birds.
On social, consumers can share their small animal or bird using #SmallinShow for an opportunity to win prizes from Kaytee.
