Radke Films Welcomes Director Martin Kalina

Canadian production company Radke Films is pleased to announce the signing of award-winning Director Martín Kalina. 

Martín is an Argentinean director, based in Barcelona, whose work in advertising has won a number of prestigious awards including multiple Gold Lion Awards at Cannes and the LIA’s. 

After attending the Film Director program at Buenos Aires FUC, Martin quickly transitioned into advertising as one half of the Argentinian directing duo Nico & Martín. During their time together, Nico & Martín worked with some of the world’s biggest brands including T-Mobile, Sony, Ford and Orange. 

In 2008 Martin opened his own production company, Primo, together with his associate Nicolas Perez Veiga. In 2012, Martín wrote, produced and directed his short film titled ‘Los Palidos’ which was screened at many film festivals such as Locarno 2013, among others. His second short film, a short-documentary film titled ‘Luca’s Thousand Miles’, was shot during the Thousand Miles race in Argentina for the Argentinian Advertising Council. With this documentary, Martín was awarded a Gold Film Lion at Cannes in 2014. 

Martin recently finished a Renault project for Publicis Paris, and Budweiser project for Anomaly in Toronto. Martin is repped exclusively in Canada by Radke.
