Radio LBB: The Bogger Bus Journey

Scimitar Sound is still in its first incredible year and I'm very grateful to everyone who has supported me. I also consider myself extremely lucky to live in the beautiful countryside in Ireland and I’ve been commuting to Dublin for nearly seven years. It has been dubbed 'The Bogger Bus Journeys' and listening to music keeps me sane everyday

Sound engineers generally have very diverse musical tastes as we see sound in many colours and I’m usually more an 80’s soft rock and big hair metal kinda guy, but I’m desperately tryna be cool now as my clients are getting younger and younger. This is a collection of tracks that float my bus and set up the day. The first track Playground by Bea Miller is from the Arcane League of Legends soundtrack and this series features some of the best sound design I've heard in a very long time. Looking at the rest of the tracks I'm now aware I am a big fan of female vocalists but if you have never googled White Sails by Marques Toliver live on Jools Holland....then are we even friends? 

Lastly, an old favourite of mine that I used as a reference track when I was studying to be a sound engineer all those years ago in college is Stina Nordenstam's Little Star. Terrifyingly though, it was released in 1994!
