Radio LBB: South Asian Sounds

As I’m sure happened for a lot of people, Yung Singh popped up on my radar after his Boiler Room set hit the internet and exploded.

Seeing someone getting the crowd hype to remixed old-school Bollywood songs I grew up with was something I didn't realise my heart needed. It’s great to see artists, often born in the UK but hailing from a South Asian background, be proud of – and musically inspired by – their heritage. This isn't just exciting for the music it creates but also so inspiring for the kids growing up who now have representation in the UK’s music scene.

Excited to share with you a mix of great South Asian talent across multiple genres, from hip hop to rock to jazz.
