The Music Lab are specialists in the crafting of original music compositions - creating music for adverts, television, film and video games. Based in London and LA the award-winning team combines experience with experiment, fusing visuals with custom made music and sound.

Here, head of creative and business development Lea Lea Ratcliffe shares her playlist - a combination of artists old and new, juxtaposed with film scores from composers that inspire her to create.

“I’ve chosen Mica Levi to kick things off, with her beautiful composition 'Wanna Hear A Story’, leading into 70's soul by Denice Williams & Aretha Franklin - before moving on to current RnB artist Masego and jazz act Nubia Garcia.

Composer Colin Stretson introduces the second half of the playlist, with rave energy provided by the legendary Roni Size, as well as Tennyson and Ahadadream. I have chosen to finish with film composer Jonny Greenwood and ‘Downstairs' -  this track really gets under your skin, making your nerves stand on edge with its use of sound design and instrumentation, which I absolutely love. Hope you enjoy it!” Check out The Music Lab here.
