Despite winter being around the corner, there’s no denying that life is in full bloom once again. The festive period and its myriad of parties loom; there’s an awards show every week, and long-overdue catch-ups with friends and colleagues compete for space in our calendars. So for me, around this time of year, a night at home with no plans feels like a luxury.
