Radio LBB: African Gems for Sync

African Music such as Afrobeat, Amapiano, Afro House, Gqom and other genres have recently seen increasing attention globally. Not only Beyoncé, Drake, Pharrell Williams and Usher have embarked on this mission, but also  movies and brands are following the trend. 

In my twenties, I have spent more than seven years living and touring Southern Africa as a DJ and music producer and placed many songs in tv, film and adverts.

For LBB I have curated a few hidden gems of recently released tracks across Africa that are also suitable for different types of placements in film and ads. This selection should take you on a wild journey across the continent with driving rhythms, hard-hitting drum sounds, distorted timbres and a (perhaps for some people unusual) selection of instruments and melodies.
