Publicis Worldwide North America hires Tim Rich as Director of Data Services, joining the expanding digital and technology operations, under the leadership of Chief Digital Officer, Dawn Winchester. In the new role, Rich will elevate the agency’s analytics capability and offering, analyze unstructured big data for new types of insights, and design proprietary client and brand algorithms. Rich will be working on the Cadillac brand and further engage with all client business.
Winchester stated, “Tim is a data scientist specializing in predictive modeling, economic sociology, and quantifying the un-quantifiable. Central to his work, Tim focuses on the nexus of human behavior and data, opening new pathways for insights, practical methods of behavioral change and dynamic intuitive visualizations. He is an amazing, and valued, addition to our very talented team. Our clients will benefit from his impact, immediately.”
Prior, Rich served as Data Scientist at 1stdibs.com in New York, building out luxury marketplace analytics, customer segmentations, and supply and demand models. His 12-year, analytics-centric career, has included senior positions at Closed Loop Advisors (NY), Haynes & Co. (NY) and T-Analytics Inc., (NY), among others. He holds a MA in Economic Sociology from Columbia University in New York.
