Publicis Worldwide has announced Mick McCabe as its new Global Chief Strategy Officer. He was previously Chief Strategy Officer of Leo Burnett USA.
Joining in March 2016, McCabe will be based in Publicis Worldwide's New York office and will also be part of the Publicis New York management team. He will work closely with Carla Serrano, former CSO and newly appointed CEO of Publicis New York and Andrew Bruce, CEO of North America. This follows a year of significant new business wins in North America with Cadillac, Citibank and Sears joining its prestigious client list.
McCabe has been with sister Publicis Communication agency Leo Burnett since 2012, working with the likes of Allstate, Esurance, Marshalls, McDonald's, Nintendo and Samsung. During his time Mick helped the agency network achieve its number one ranking in Ad Age's 2015 Awards Report. Prior to Leo Burnett, Mick held Chief Strategy roles at KBS and Deutsch.
Arthur Sadoun, Global CEO of Publicis Worldwide and Publicis Communications, commented: "I am truly excited about the strategic leadership and experience that Mick brings to Publicis Worldwide. He is a global talent and I am confident that he will be an excellent addition to the North American and global management team."
Mick McCabe, Global Chief Strategy Officer of Publicis Worldwide, added: "I'm honored to be appointed as the Global Chief Strategy Officer for such a forward-thinking network. Arthur and Andrew have a vision for this business that is exciting to be part of and Publicis Worldwide brings real strategic energy and innovation to client problems".
Dylan Williams, who has held the position of Global CSO at Publicis Worldwide for nearly two years, is leaving Publicis Worldwide to pursue new entrepreneurial ventures.
