From 2nd April this year, all Publicis Groupe UK employees will benefit from a radical flexible working culture, which will transform the working day.
Devised by Publicis Media, the progressive plan outlines a more productive way of working that facilitates greater flexibility. Following how well received it was at Publicis Media, Publicis Groupe has taken the decision to roll out the programme to all of the company’s employees.
Annette King, CEO of Publicis Groupe, commented: “As our business transforms, we are committed to finding more productive, healthier and happier ways of working for our talent. Introducing a radical way of more flexible working country-wide in the company is a big step and a beacon for the industry. Culturally, I am certain this will further galvanise our teams and improve the fluid way in which we work.”
The new way of working will start rolling out as the first Publicis Media employees begin to move to their new offices in White City in mid-February. By early April, all employees will benefit from the programme.
Publicis Groupe will operate the business around several key behaviours that are founded on the principles of ‘trust, empowerment, communication and outputs’ as opposed to ‘presenteeism’ and the standardised ‘9am-5pm’ working day.
The company believes this modern, smarter approach will encourage greater productivity across the business while also supporting a healthier work-life balance.
Ahead of the roll out a comprehensive training programme on working flexibly will be delivered to all employees.
