The rumors are true. “Wolfenstein: The New Order,” created by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks, releases this fall in Q4.
The game’s newly revealed announcement trailer, an ominous introduction created by Psyop and AKQA, is set in the an alternate 1960s “Wolfenstein” reality universe where the Nazi war machine has taken over the globe.
Viewers are taken through a sinister factory production line while images of collapsing national landmarks superimposed over gleaming, metallic surfaces allude to the toppling of the world’s democratic nations. As the camera pulls through an evil robotic eye, an army of massive, weaponized robots tower over a the game’s solitary hero – BJ Blaskowicz.
