PSN welcomes contribution to a survey which will help inform and educate the global industry on trends in shooting overseas
Ahead of Cannes 2018, The Production Service Network is extending the benefits of its community to the entire advertising industry.

The network has devised a survey aiming to collect and share information about global production trends – where the industry is shooting, what the benefits are, when and why.

They will share the results with all who participate in the survey and welcome participants from across the business; from production house and agency producers to directors, location scouts and more.

Founder of PSN, Michael Moffett comments: “Production trends are notoriously hard to pin down, the distinct advantages and disadvantages of each city, region and country are continuously evolving and adapting - staying on top of them all can be tricky. We want to shed some light on what the industry is doing by not only tapping into the expertise of our PSN Partners around the world but to the whole production community. We all learn by experience. The gathering of different perspectives on overseas shooting from across the industry will enable us to identify why projects are shot overseas and how well they’re carried out."

PSN assure that the survey will not ask for any intrusive information, nor will the results share the names of participants or their company name. The questions have been written carefully in order to avoid revealing any details of the clients involved.

Michael adds: “We understand that NDA restrictions are a significant reason that this sort of industry information isn’t readily available. We’ve remained mindful of that in formulating our questions so that participants do not have to reveal any data that may violate current agreements. We hope that this will be a rewarding and informing exercise for all working in the production community.”
