Omnicom Precision Marketing Group today announced that current Proximity Worldwide CEO, Doug Worple (right), has been promoted to chairman. This promotion will take immediate effect and the new structure will see Doug focusing on driving acquisitions, partnerships and service extensions to expand Proximity’s offering as an end-to-end provider of personalised experiences across the entire customer journey.
To facilitate this move, Mike Dodds (left), previously global president, will become Global CEO and take responsibility for the performance of the current global network which spans 23 offices operating out of 21 countries. Mike will continue to report into Doug who in turn reports to Luke Taylor, the CEO of Omnicom Precision Marketing Group.

Moving Doug and Mike into these new roles will allow Proximity to develop and deepen existing relationships and deliver true real-time personalisation at scale across all major markets.”
As part of this next phase of its capability expansion, Proximity’s historic strength in creating award-winning ideas for digital and direct will increasingly be coupled with deep expertise in performance-based personalisation, marketing technology enablement and end-to-end brand experiences.
