With the European edition of the conference and awards approaching rapidly, PromaxBDA announces the Rocket Award finalists, the awards ceremony’s host and a brand new session dedicated to the first truly digitalized Olympic Games.
New session announced – “The Olympics in a Digital World – How London 2012 took Gold for the First Digital Olympics”, Monday 11 March, 17:15.
The session will be presented by Justin Bairamian, Director of Creative Marketing at BBC, Steve Boulton, Creative Director, deltatre and James Walker, Head of Marketing, Channel 4.
The 2012 Olympic Games can be considered the game changer of Games to date. Billed as the first digital Olympics, the consumer engagement at the ‘12 Summer Games’ reached new records and set a template and a standard for live sports events to come. Speakers will share strategic and creative work that took these games to the next level.
Finalists of the 2013 Rocket Awards announced
The Rocket Award is a special category of the PromaxBDA Europe Awards honoring upcoming talent in promotion or design. The Rocket is presented to individuals with less than two years of professional experience in the field of design or promotion. This year’s finalists are: Cassie Earl, Red Bee Media; Gerguly Regula, HBO Europe; Ian Sott, Sky Creative; Giulia Sbernini, Discovery Italia Srl; Simon Schreiner, Viva Germany.
PromaxBDA Europe Awards host announced
This year’s the awards ceremony host will be The Horne Section, a unique five people band of stand-up comedians and UK’s finest jazz musicians. Founded by the award winning comedian Alex Horne, The Horne Section will turn the awards ceremony into a fun and versatile experience.
The PromaxBDA Europe Awards take place on the second day of the conference on March 12 in the Hotel Marriot Rive Gauche in Paris.
