Content production Radlab has officially opened its new office space in Eden Terrace, to fuel the company’s next round of growth after doubling in size over the past year.
The new office has been custom designed to support the stellar growth of the business, as well as to stimulate a better workplace culture. It’s designed for an open working environment, with a central relaxation space, and break-out areas for specific staff.
The company has two dedicated suites for post-production. The first is a soundproof suite for audio recording, colour grading and online editing; the second is a master suite for clients featuring a 55” colour-matched OLED, full surround sound and soundproofing for client reviews.
Radlab has been on a phenomenal growth trajectory, increasing revenue by 200% in the last financial year, and doubling the number of employees from six to 12 in the last year alone.
Jared Donkin, founder and managing director of Radlab explains: “Our growth has come from across the business and is a testament to the importance of content in the marketing mix. The utilisation of content and creativity will always evolve, but we’ve positioned ourselves perfectly in the middle ground for agencies big or small.”
Over the last four years, Radlab has become one of the most prolific content production agencies in the industry, working for the likes of Tourism Fiji, Samsung, Jaguar Land Rover, Vodafone, Pernod Ricard, L’Oreal, Rhythm & Vines, Stuff, Red Bull and Ironman.
“The office has been designed so we can compete with larger production houses,” explains Donkin. “Our space gives us new opportunities to work closely with creatives and clients on post-production, delivering outputs to a much higher level.”
Radlab has invested heavily in the client-service side of its business, appointing a full-time producer and senior account manager for a seamless experience with agencies and brands. It has also invested heavily in production capabilities, appointing two dedicated animators and graphic artists, and three dedicated editors in post-production.
The agency has also strengthened its network of contractors outside the business to offer a wider range of senior creative direction, directors, and DOPs to ensure it can solve any creative brief, whilst retaining RadLab’s service and post-production speed.
The agency has also recently launched Byond, a social media marketing service, for clients which want the full spectrum from creation to distribution.
