Ports1961 Unveils Minimalist Website Redesign

Ports1961 has signed with luxury digital agency Verb Brands for the design and development of its brand new site. The luxury fashion brand had a clear vision of how they wanted their brand to be perceived online which Verb was able to assist in bringing to life. The creatives at Ports1961 wanted minimalism with an edge; paying homage to an art gallery in order to showcase fashion-forward clothing.

Luxury fashion brand PORTS 1961 was founded in Canada by Japanese designer Luke Tanabe. His vision lives on today through the collections of creative director Nataša Čagalj, whose designs place an emphasis on quality, functionality and the understated style of the modern woman. The international spirit at the heart of the brand is reflected in its global operations: collections are designed in London, produced in Italy, and housed in the brand’s flagship stores in Paris, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Verb drew upon this to create a site which combined smart UX with luxury design. Ports1961 also has a large consumer base in the South East which gave Verb the chance to draw upon technical expertise in localised marketing.
