Pornhub Stimulates the Economy with its Big Packages for Small Businesses

In response to the economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the world largest adult network is pitching in with the launch of their own form of stimulus: Pornhub's Big Package for Small Businesses. Rolling out today, the activation seeks to help struggling small businesses around the world reactivate their sales thanks to free custom ads on pornhub.com, a site that receives over 120 million unique visitors a day.  

With many small businesses not receiving their fair share of government assistance, Pornhub decided to rise to the challenge with a stimulating package of their own. That’s why they’ll be using their massive platform to shine a spotlight on these local entrepreneurs by pledging to create ads for 100 businesses from amongst a global pool of applicants. Each ad, which will be placed on pornhub.com for millions of potential customers to see, will be created by Officer & Gentleman, the agency behind many of the brand’s most well known advertising campaigns and initiatives. 

According to Officer & Gentleman co-founder Alex Katz: “Small businesses have always been the backbone of the world’s economy. Unfortunately though, they’ve been amongst the hardest hit by the growing recession. Because while large companies have deep enough pockets to weather the storm or to invest in enough advertising to continue attracting new customers, mom and pops just don't have that luxury. And with much of the economic stimulus money ending up in the hands of the big guys, it’s the tiny ones that can use some help in the growth department (which is something Pornhub knows a thing or two about).”

In order to get the word out, the brand created a promotional spot featuring the owners of 10 small businesses in some of the cities most affected by the pandemic: Rio de Janeiro, Milan, Madrid, Tokyo and NY. From a florist and a restaurant to a jeweller, a barbershop and even a karaoke bar, the proprietors of these small businesses are the proud face of the initiative. In addition, Pornhub will be promoting selected businesses on their social media channels, including Instagram (where the brands has over 10 million followers).
