Remember the days when travel was a luxury, and where the excitement began long before you reached your destination?
BBH wanted to hark back the beauty of travel. British Airways’ state-of-the-art Terminal 5, voted the World’s Best Terminal in 2012, gave us the perfect opportunity to do that.
In vintage style illustrated posters, the resplendent days of air travel are re – lived - a time when fashion, glamour and gourmet food were all part of the experience.
Such luxuries await at the new Terminal 5 - a destination in itself. Travellers can choose from an array of top British and international brands such as Smythson, Mulberry, Paul Smith, Jimmy Choo and Prada.
And you’re spoilt for food choices including a taste of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s Plane food. (yes, Plane!)
Said Peter Callaghan, BBH Creative Director “Terminal 5 brings some genuine glamour back to air travel. It is grand, spacious, and filled with desirables. How right to take it back to a bygone era, and sell it as a destination in itself”
“We wanted to position T5 as an ideal transit hub, the home of British Airways. With all T5’s offerings, travel promises to be an absolute pleasure” added Niall O’Gorman, Marketing Lead, British Airways:
The print and out - of - home campaign is now running in India and Korea and will rollout across Asian markets in coming months.
