Plaza director Amanda Blue's controversial documentary 'Deep Water - The
Real Story' has received three nominations at the Australian Academy of
Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards.
Blue is nominated
for Best Direction in a Documentary, and the film is also in line for
Best Cinematography in a Documentary for Simon Morris, as well as Best
Feature Length Documentary.
'Deep Water - The Real Story' presents first-hand accounts of Eastern Sydney's gay-hate killings in the 1980s and 1990s.
Blue has been also busy shooting commercials and content in the UK and Europe and will be back in Australia shortly.
The AACTA awards are held on Wednesday 6th December at The Star Event Centre, Sydney.
