These days if you want to catch up with your mates you're usually better off avoiding the pub and switching on your games console of choice. The latest spot for PlayStation celebrates the joy of ganging up with - or on - your best friends for a good old session of online multiplayer gaming.
'Experience More Together' for PlayStation Plus, PlayStation's premium subscription service which offers extra gaming content and facilitates online play, sees a group of friends mess about in a variety of video game genres. It's the first big ad for Sony's PlayStation Plus service and sees the brand go head-to-head with Microsoft's Xbox Live offering.
The creative is out of BBH New York - and is also notable for the inclusion of a female gamer character, something which has been notably absent from many of the Next Gen console ads.
From high octane war games to high seas adventure the commercial, directed by Corner Shop's Peter Thwaites, jumps playfully between set pieces thanks to some clever cutting from Work Editorial's Bill Smedley.
