Play 'Dodgy Dogs' with this Visually Pleasing Card Game from Jean Jullien

On June 26th world renowned visual artist Jean Jullien will launch his first ever card game on Kickstarter.

His latest project, Dodgy Dogs was created in collaboration with creative games company, Yolky Games. Yolky Games is a design-led games company founded by former CMO of EE, Pippa Dunn and Andy Medd, co-founder of Mother.  

The game is family friendly, really fast paced and lots of fun; but more than a card game, Dodgy Dogs is a design object. It’s simple, affordable, and exquisitely made.

The Kickstarter campaign will be full of collectable items, from limited edition packs, limited edition signed prints, and even a couple of chances to have your dog illustrated by Jean Jullien and featured in the game. 

Dodgy Dogs is all about the comical world of naughty dogs. This is however not your typical pack of cards. Jean Jullien has meticulously illustrated each card with his distinctive black brush strokes, light-heartedly drawn characters and hued simplicity. 

Jean Jullien and Yolky Games worked with Sidekick Creatives to produce a short film that will launch the Kickstarter Campaign. It is a lighthearted introduction to the world of Dodgy Dogs using Jean’s unique visual world. It features oversized dog masks painted by Jean Jullien - and takes its inspiration from the famous ‘dogs playing poker’ series by Coolidge.

Jean Jullien says "I met the Yolky Games founders at the launch of my book Under Dogs and did a session of dog portraits that was a lot of fun. We had a mutual love for dogs and sense of humour so when they approached me with the idea of a card game I was in straight away".
