Planet Propaganda Promotes Emily Steele to Lead Managing Director

Planet Propaganda, the independent creative agency, has elevated Emily Steele to Managing Director, a new role at the agency. She will be tasked with driving both the financial and cultural health of the business, leading and managing all non-Creative department directors, and overseeing client relationships, services and processes.

Emily has been at Planet Propaganda for the last five years, first as Account Supervisor, and for the past two years as an Account Director. In that role, she led a department while overseeing clients including, Duluth Trading Company, Jersey Mike’s, Pancheros, Gatorade and Smithworks Vodka. She also drove new workflow and quality control processes for the agency and played a key role in new business.

Emily started her career at Moosylvania in St. Louis before moving to Madison.  She worked at Shine United and other Madison agencies prior to joining Planet Propaganda. 

“In this role, I hope to continue fostering Planet's unique and familial culture, putting a special emphasis on diversity, transparency and mentorship,” Emily said. “I also hope to expand our client roster and further enhance our agency offerings, allowing us more opportunities to build powerful brands, do great work for great clients and thoughtfully grow our business.”

Planet Propaganda has also promoted Katie Roach to Head of Production from her role as Executive Producer, Andrea Slotten to Operations Director from her post as Production Director, and Mckenzie Halling Account Executive from Account Coordinator.
