The emotional movie 'Dark Horse' was directed by Euros Lyn and produced by Popara Films and RAW. Director of photography Erik Wilson worked with Bet Rourich, who was in charge of the additional cinematography.
The film tells the inspiring true story of Dream Alliance, an unlikely race horse bred by small town Welsh bartender, Jan Vokes starring Academy Award-nominated Australian actress Toni Colette.
With very little money and no experience, Jan convinces her neighbours to chip in their meagre earnings to help raise Dream in the hopes he can compete with the racing elites.
Toni Colette easily carries the film’s emotional weight as a woman of very ordinary circumstances who needs something extraordinary in her life to give it hope and purpose.
