After England’s monumental win at the Cricket World Cup and a lengthy Wimbledon men’s final, some of the P&S team are feeling a bit worse for wear after what was perhaps the most exciting Sunday evening for some time. For this reason, our playlist this week is a bit more on the chilled side of things - the perfect way to ease your way into the week.
Far Boundaries by Dean Hurley
Music supervisor to esteemed director David Lynch and friend to P&S, Dean Hurley released the second volume of his ‘Anthology Resource’ series. A project that explores the “immortal voyage of the soul,” this track in particular is a standout.
明天 Tomorrow by Blood Wine or Honey
Every so often we come across a song that just stops us in our tracks and this week, this is it. A little bit of Ian Dury inspired, Hong Kong infused tropicalia to start your week, courtesy of Blood Wine or Honey.
Pink Youth (ft. Little Simz) by Yuna
Yuna teamed up with some of music’s biggest names for her latest album release, however, it’s this vibrant and groovy cut with Little Simz that we simply can’t get enough of.
Call of the Wild (Cinthie Remix) by Detroit Swindle
We’re big Detroit Swindle fans here at P&S, so we just had to include a track off their latest EP of remixes. Cinthie’s revamped production brings a bit of Chicago house to an already brilliant track.
Space Oddity (2019 Mix) by David Bowie
Can you believe that it’s been 50 years since the release of Space Oddity?! The David Bowie classic has not only been remixed to commemorate this, but has also inspired a Bowie Barbie doll!
