This week is all about anticipation - be it a track from an upcoming album or, in the case of Foals, the first part of a longer project. Anticipation is a huge part of being a music fan and is part of why we do what we do. If these little snippets are anything to go by, we’re all in for lots of musical treats later on in the year.
Disgrace By Pixx
It’s no easy task to create a song that sounds like it’s straight out of the '80s whilst sounding incredibly contemporary but Pixx has done just that on the lead single from her upcoming second album.
She Says by Gurr
Typically when we talk about music that comes out of Berlin, we usually mention the amazing techno that the city has to offer, however Gurr are spearheading a thriving garage rock scene, evident on this breezy track.
Cafe D’Athens by Foals
If you haven’t been listening to the new Foals album, then what have you been doing with your life?! The gang definitely exceeded expectations on their latest output, the first of two albums that they’re gifting fans with this year. Lucky us!
Cry Everything by Kindness
Given that Kindness is one of the coolest around, it’s only natural that he teamed up with another exceedingly cool artist, with P&S fave Robyn providing backing vocals on this new track.
Cute by Kiefer
Kiefer does it yet again on this groovy track melding jazz and hip hop into the perfect little slice of chillness to start your week.
