Music and sound agency Pitch & Sync reveal the latest and hottest new artists, songs and albums that they’ve been listening to in their weekly instalment of Tracks of the Week.
‘After some much needed time off, we’re back! Bringing you the absolute best tunes on offer, as always. Time to cast off those January blues and slap on some top tunes. With some anti-dry January groove from Lizzo and socially conscious rap from the always impressive Noname, we’re starting the year off right.’
Wind Down by Wush
For those in need of some relaxation, look no further. wüsh is here to cleanse your mind and soul with this chilled lo-fi track. The perfect track for a New Years detox.
Juice by Lizzo
The Queen of feel-good funk, Lizzo kicks 2019 off with a bang, leaving us unable to keep our feet still. Make sure to check out the music video too, jam packed with 80’s nostalgia and even a reference to ASMR.
Song 31 by Noname
Truly breaking through last year, Noname shows no signs of slowing down in 2019, releasing this track on New Years Day. Jazz tinged and brilliantly aware, this year is already shaping up to be a big one for the Chicago native.
You Only Want Me by AMOK
A new collaboration between Sian and Will Clarke, AMOK debuts with an expansive EP, fusing the two producers' influences. The title track which we have chosen is easily a standout and is getting us excited to tear up the dancefloor this year.
Tests by Katie Bollinger
Released at the tail-end of 2018, this dreamy DIY track from Kate Bollinger is laid back yet keeps our attention from start to finish. We can’t wait to hear more from her!
