Pitch & Sync Releases Latest Tracks of the Week

Music and sound agency Pitch & Sync reveal the latest and hottest new artists, songs and albums that they’ve been listening to in their weekly installment of Tracks of the Week.

‘After a fun filled Halloween and the week kicking off with Bonfire Night, things have been pretty non-stop here at P&S.

"Thankfully the past week has seen some brilliant releases that are slightly less intense than previous weeks and have helped us ease our way into the working week. From neo soul to lo-fi house, these tracks offer a welcome escape from the explosive festivities of Fireworks Night.’

STREAM

SQUAZ BY ROSS FROM FRIENDS

Another track from the ever consistent Ross From Friends that is understated yet makes you want to hit the dancefloor. Forming part of Brainfeeder’s upcoming compilation, ‘Brainfeeder X’, celebrating the label’s history, we can’t wait to hear what other new tracks this collection has to offer.

BRUISE CRUISE BY PUMA BLUE

We’ve been longtime fans of Puma Blue, so you can imagine our excitement over his latest EP that was released this past week. This cut is definitely one of our favourites off the release with it’s dreamy and funky vibes.

KING OF THE HILL BY THUNDERCAT

Another single from ‘Brainfeeder X’, this soulful track features Thundercat’s signature falsetto along with intricate instrumentation in the form of funky bass, breakbeats and further jazzy and psychedelic sounds from Toronto based group BadBadNotGood.

COCOA SUGAR BY YOUNG FATHERS

Previously unreleased from the album of the same name, Young Father sput out this experimental track as a B-side this past week. Timely in its subject matter, the track tells of a refugee father saying goodbye to his child, a touching and saddening tale if ever there was one.

SATURN (FEAT. KWABS) BY NAO

The title track from her sophomore album, Nao returns, collaborating with stellar guest vocals from Kwabs on this smooth and cosmic release that shows that she is one of the finest voices in British R&B right now.
