Music and sound agency Pitch & Sync reveal the latest and hottest new artists, songs and albums that they’ve been listening to in their weekly instalment of Tracks of the Week.
After a few weeks of listening to 'Three Lions' on repeat, our picks for this week are some of the coolest tracks around. These have put us back in the mood to do some serious work after a month of football related enjoyment.
False Claims by Riva Starr and Green Velvet
This latest release from head of Snatch! Records, Riva Starr and frequent collaborator, Chicago’s Green Velvet is an excellent house track that will definitely get you moving.
Bad Timing by Phantastic Ferniture
Julia Jacklin’s soft vocals perfectly compliment the jaunty guitars and indie pop sound in this track from Phantastic Ferniture. It also has a wonderfully quirky music video which we are also loving.
2 Chords Good by Gently Tender
The debut single from Gently Tender, this track feels wistful and familiar. We look forward to hearing more from this supergroup.
XXPLOSIVE by Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band
Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band put a unique spin on Dr Dre’s hit of the same name, complete with heavy steel drums.
Another cool and funky track from the always superb The Internet. We’re waiting patiently for their album release on the 20th!
