This week features new music by Nicolas Godin, Alice Boman, Skream, Teen Daze and Jaakko Eino Kalevi

None of this Cyber-Monday garbage! Everyone knows today is Tracks of The Week from Pitch & Sync! Here's your weekly dose of five great new tracks to ease you into the week.

The Foundation by Nicolas Godin

Half of pioneering french electronic band, Air, Nicolas Godin has dropped the second single from his impending album, Concrete and Glass. ‘The Foundation’ is a grinding, groove featuring airy (no pun intended) vocals from Godin and deviant-disco producer Cola Boyy. The full record drops on the 24th of January, can’t wait!

Don’t Forget About Me by Alice Boman

Angelic synth lines, blissful vocals with gorgeous harmonies and dazzling instrumentation, the new Alice Boman single ‘Don’t Forget About Me’ is the closest you can get to snuggling your ears into a warm bed of blankets and pillows and drifting away.

Ectogazm by Skream

South London electronic heavy hitter, Skream, had his new track ‘Ectogazm’ released during Pete Tong’s BBC1 Essential Mix over the weekend. The new track features uplifting keys, Skreams signature spiralling synth lines and hammering snares. Another dance floor classic for sure!

Open by Teen Daze

Canadian Electronic producer Teen Daze has always strived to find a balance in the digital and natural worlds of music production, focusing on the intricacies of replicating natural textures. New track ‘Open’ captures the sparseness and emptiness of the sky and the raw potential of space with drifting reverbs, layered vocal lines and gusty synths.

Dissolution by Jaakko Eino Kalevi

Combining folk funk and psych-rock into trippy experimental pop, Finnish multi-instrumentalist Jaakko Eino Kalevi has this week released his latest LP, Dissolution. Title track, ‘Dissolution’ quickly settles into a crunchy funk groove with quirky, octave synths and jangling guitars and aptly sums up the oddball nature of this full release, definitely well worth a full listen!
