Piranha Bar Creates Compelling New Spot for The Irish Times
The Irish Times' latest campaign through agency Owens DDB highlights the immediacy and intimacy of news and information flowing daily from journalist to reader.

By developing a simplified motion control technique, Piranha Bar director Gavin Kelly was able to use a seamless camera move between two realities, as a visual metaphor for the fine sliver of digital technology separating the writer from the reader.

European Correspondent Suzanne Lynch and columnist Miriam Lord are two of the prominent Irish Times journalists featured in this campaign. With instant updates coming out of Brussels on the compelling terrorist crisis the EU faces, or colourful, incisive writing from Dublin City, foreign reporting and clever discussion is now only a touch away.
