Picturesmith has been shortlisted for this year’s Creativepool Annual Awards.
Picturehouse approached Picturesmith for a new cinema ident to coincide with their 30th anniversary, for which they had created a new logo. As this film is playing before every film in their venues across the country, it was important to keep the branding up-to-date.

The film is a 30 second stop motion animation made with cut out paper, shot on a glass multiplane to create cinematic depth. Having worked with them before, we were excited to bring to life an animation that embodied the Picturehouse culture and experience as well as the world of cinema with a bunch of film references hidden away to discover on repeat viewing.
