Photoplay supports The Second Coming

Australian production company Photoplay Films has announced that they are working with Aquarius Films (‘Wish You Were Here’) to produce their next feature film The Second Coming. The film is set to begin shooting early 2013 and has already secured significant investment. With the light at the end of the funding tunnel within reach, they are reaching out for the last piece required to make the film using global crowd funding website Pozible.

 

The film is an adaptation of an award-winning novel by acclaimed author Andrew Masterton. It follows the story of Joe Panther, a man who believes he is Jesus, who becomes the prime suspect in a murder case and strives to clear his name. The Second Coming is a provocative, blasphemous, bold and original feature film from writer/director David Barker and producer Angie Fielder.
