Peter Dinklage Takes On Morgan Freeman in this Super Bowl Song of Ice and Fire

Epic lip sync battle between Doritos and Mountain Dew takes on Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott classics

Peter Dinklage Takes On Morgan Freeman in this Super Bowl Song of Ice and Fire
Did someone hear a mic drop? Goodby Silverstein and Partners have called house in the pop culture bingo competition this Super Bowl. Their dual add for Doritos Blaze and Mountain Dew Ice sees Morgan Freeman take on Peter Dinklage in a lip-sync battle featuring Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott hits – and the whole thing is also something of a song of fire and ice…

It’s a smart double whammy for PepsiCo, which owns both Doritos and Mountain Dew. Well, if you’ve got it flaunt it.

Dinklage shows his fiery side for Doritos, giving an attitude-laden rendition of Busta Rhymes’ “Look at Me Now” – and looks suitably demonic as he does so surrounded by a blazing building. Meanwhile, the ice cool Morgan Freeman gives Jack Frost a run for his money as he performs all-time banger Get Ur Freak On.

On Super Bowl Sunday, fans will be able to record their own performance on a specially-created Snapchat lens and they’ll be encouraged to pick a side. Dinklage or Freeman – we certainly can’t choose.
And if that’s not enough action for you, there are also teaser spots that see Missy and Busta mentor their proteges as they warm up for match day.
