MEC was today announced as the new media agency for Pernod Ricard in Germany. The Düsseldorf-based agency came successful out of a two-stage pitch with three other undisclosed participants and will take over the account from incumbent agency Carat. Pernod Ricard has 31 brands on the German market, including Ramazzotti, Havana Club, Absolut and Ballantine´s.
Christian Seel, CEO of Pernod Ricard Germany, commented on the appointment, “When choosing an agency partner, several factors must be considered. We identified two main areas that we need our agency to master, for now and in the future: Innovation and digital. I believe that we with MEC have found the best partner to help us futureproof our business.”
